Services and Pricing
Initial phone, text, or email consultations are always complimentary. We’re here to listen and provide you with information and our recommended next steps. We are available to help families Monday through Friday 9 am until 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am until 2 pm. If we are unavailable, please leave a message and we will respond as soon as possible. If we haven’t met you and your pet, we are unable to make specific recommendations for care. Florida law requires a valid veterinarian-client-patient relationship which begins with a scheduled Home Visit.
Euthanasia Home Visit
This includes an in-home visit, sedation, and euthanasia but does not include the cost of cremation, travel, or after hour fees - see below for aftercare options we provide thru The Pet Loss Center of Melbourne and our service area map.
Hospice Home Visit
This initial 2 hour visit includes examination by a Certified Hospice Veterinarian, previous records review, quality of life evaluation for the pet and family, detailed plan for continued care (including communication with your primary care veterinarian), discussion of any additional medications / comfort kits (additional charge for dispensed medications), and 30 days of continued phone, email, and video communications for your pet during business hours.
Continued hospice care with either a Home Visit Recheck or video conferencing is $195 additional per month.
All Home Visits - additional $50 for weekday evenings after 6 pm, Saturdays after 2pm, and Sundays, and $100 for holidays (when arrangements are made prior).

ADDITIONAL AFTERCARE FEES
If your family has elected cremation for a pet over 30 pounds, we may ask your assistance moving your loved one after euthanasia has been performed. If additional help is needed outside what is available in the home, we may request that the crematory come to assist us. In this case, an additional fee may be needed to cover their charge.
Cremation witnessing, funeral services, and burial at a pet cemetery can be arranged directly through The Pet Loss Center.
For home burial, you should check your local and county regulations. If animal burial is allowed, the pet should be buried at least 3 feet deep underground to prevent your pet from being disturbed by wildlife. Because the burial depth is deep, you also need to be cautious of water and power lines.
We are able to accept cash, checks, and credit cards at the time of your service, or credit card prior to the appointment. We also offer payment plans through Scratchpay. Click the link below for more information.
If you must change or cancel your appointment, we kindly ask that you give us at least a 24-hour advance notice so that we may help other families in need.
